Make-A-Wish internships are valuable opportunities for students to learn about organizational life and particularly, the non-profit sector. Our internships are designed so that students obtain real-world experience and gain the necessary skills to assist them in their professional life. We offer internships each semester in a variety of fields. Hours vary between positions but can be accommodated to fit the intern’s requirements. We ask that the interns start the application process two months prior to the start of the internship. Due to the nature of the non-profit life, all internships are unpaid.

Fall 2008:
Web Design Internship - work with our Communications Manager to make our website outstanding!

Special Events Internship - help us with one of our biggest fundraisers - our Wish Gala at the Ritz Carlton on November 1st

Fundraising Internship – you will help us by writing grants and working on our Stories of Light campaign

Intern to the CEO/President - work with our National Sponsors on upcoming fundraising events, help with the development of our Estate Planning Board, and new donors for our organization

Program Services intern - interview wish families and wishgranters and write stories about the child's wish experience for upcoming newsletters
