ST. LOUIS (July 27, 2017) – Make-A-Wish® Missouri, the leading children’s wish granting organization in the state, announces their new digital campaign, #BestSummerEver. The campaign will aim to grant as many wishes as possible this summer with the help of local communities, companies and corporations. Wishes just like that of 3-year-old Liam – who is battling a congenital cardiac condition – and his heartfelt wish to have a playground of his own.
The campaign will target locality, asking the community to join them in an effort to raise awareness of wish children waiting for their one-true wish, and increase financial support to help the chapter take one step closer to accomplishing their vision to grant the wish of every eligible child.
“Locally, each year, it is estimated that there are nearly 450 children that are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition who are eligible for a wish from Make-A-Wish Missouri,” said Brian Miller, Marketing Manager at Make-A-Wish Missouri.
Make-A-Wish Missouri staff, along with its supporters, have pledged to make this the best summer ever. The staff reached out and asked for the help from their supporters. Even at this stage, the campaign has received support and attention from multiple public figures, including recording artist, Nelly.
Make-A-Wish Missouri is asking for donations, volunteers and awareness in order to help with the success of this campaign, and ultimately its mission of granting wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
“It’s our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. Together, we can transform lives one wish at a time,” said Miller.
