Join the Youth Leadership Council as they host their 1st Annual Star of the Show event on Saturday March 10th! The event takes place at Maryville University in St. Louis and the show will kick-off at 5:00 PM.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The Star of the Show is the first of its kind event. We will be inviting winners from area high schools “Mr.” competitions to join us for a unique fundraising event. The event will feature contestants participating in 3 rounds of fun led by our celebrity emcee, Steve Harris of KMOV!
Winners will be determined by audience voting. Each $5 entry ticket comes with 1 vote. You can purchase additional votes at the event for $2 each. Want to see your school’s winner crowned the Star of the Show? Be sure to get your friends, family, and community members to attend so that your contestant has the best chance of being crowned the winner! Our winner will receive a $250 gift card to be used for purchasing college supplies.
We will have a silent auction along with other fun ways to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Missouri and local wish kids. Be sure to bring cash or a credit card so that you can participate in these fun opportunities and support the cause.
YLC members will also be selling tickets at their individual schools as well.
