During the month of August, Schnuck Markets, Inc. will host their 6th Annual Vendor campaign to help grant wishes to local children battling life-threatening medical conditions. The campaign has raised nearly $100,000 to make wishes come true through Make-A-Wish. Participating vendors donate a portion of sales back to Make-A-Wish throughout the month of August.
The campaign is made possible thanks to generous sponsors including Pretzel Crisps, Nestle Buitoni, Saputo, Cabot Creamery, Athenos, Anheuser-Busch, Heartland Creamery, 34 Degrees, Crunchmaster, Culinaria Hummus, Thomas Coffee, Klement’s, Queso de Casa, Heineken, Imo’s, Cedar Hollow Foods, Nabisco, Jennie-O, Stacy’s, Bel Brands, Sartori, Frito Lay, Lantana Foods, Norseland, and Emmi Roth. Look for the Make-A-Wish sticker to find participating products in store.
Schnucks became a Community Wish Partner six years ago when Derick Rosinksy, Specialty Cheese Manager, wanted to help wish kids like Maddie, the daughter of a family friend. Over the past five years, Derick's annual promotion to raise money for Make-A-Wish has continued to grow, including more Schnucks' vendors and selling more products. We are so thrilled to have them on board again this year!
