• Host a Pie-in-the-Face Contest: Students pay $1 to pie their friend or teacher, and then they can pay $2 to get out of it.

• Soak Your Teacher: Students buy opportunities to soak their teachers.  Ideas: Squirt with a squirt gun: $.50; Water balloon: $3.00; Bucket of water: $10.00.

• Half Court Shooting: At a basketball game or a pep rally: charge a small fee for a chance to make a half court shot for a prize.

• Plan a Talent Show: You can invite the community to a talent show at your school.  Charge a small admission fee or pass around a collection can to obtain donations.

• Host a Dance Marathon: Reserve the school gymnasium and ask a local deejay to donate his or her services.  Have students pair up and obtain pledges from relatives and friends.  Determine a length of time for the event (for instance, five hours).

• Coordinate a Teacher Baby Picture Contest: Teachers can bring in one of their baby pictures.  Pictures are displayed and students pay to try to guess who is who.  The student naming the most teachers wins a prize.
